- Members of GlobalCargo VTC and Global Convoy Control worldwide
Although we are based in the Netherlands, this policy applies globally wherever our users are located.

3.1 Personal data collected from registered members
When you create an account or use member features of our Services, we collect the personal data required to create and manage your membership. This includes:
- Username
- Date of birth
- Country of residence (optional)
- E-mail address
- Discord name
- TruckersMP profile link
- Steam profile link
- Twitch username (optional)
- Twitter/X username (optional)
Optional fields are only collected if you choose to provide them.
3.2 Data collected automatically from visitors
When you visit or use our websites, we automatically collect technical and usage data. This applies to both visitors and registered members. This data includes:

- Pages visited and actions taken on the sites
- Date and time of visits

- Manage and synchronise membership with required third-party platforms (TruckersMP, Trucky, Discord)

- Analytics cookies are only activated after consent
- IP anonymisation is enabled
- Data transfers outside the EU are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
8. Data Retention
When you close your account or leave GlobalCargo VTC or Global Convoy Control, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legitimate purposes.
Deleted after 90 days:
- Active account data
- Job, convoy, and driving statistics
- Public profile information
Retained beyond 90 days (restricted access):
- Internal join and leave history
- Records of disciplinary actions, HR cases, or blacklist decisions
- Limited identifiers required to prevent ban evasion (email, Steam ID, TruckersMP ID, internal unique identifiers)
This data is retained solely for enforcing bans and blacklists, preventing rejoining under a different account, and protecting the integrity and safety of the communities.
Retained data is:
- Access-limited to authorised staff only
- Not visible to other members
- Not used for statistics, ranking, or public display
We periodically review retained data and delete it when it is no longer necessary.
9. Data Storage and International Transfers
Personal data is primarily stored on servers within the EU/EEA. Access is restricted to authorised administrators.
We use Google services (Gmail, Drive, Docs) for communication and internal administration. Data processed outside the EU/EEA is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Disclosure of Data
We may disclose personal data:
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights or users
- To prevent fraud or abuse
We never sell your personal data.

If an application is submitted by someone under 15, it will be rejected. Application data is deleted as soon as reasonably possible.
For preventing repeated abuse, we may temporarily retain limited identifiers under legitimate interest.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure.
14. Third-Party Platforms (TruckersMP, Trucky & Discord)
Membership requires a valid TruckersMP account.
Certain personal data may be shared with third-party platforms for membership management:
- TruckersMP (truckersmp.com)
- Trucky (hub.truckyapp.com)
- Discord (voor rol-synchronisatie)
Data shared is limited to what is necessary. These platforms are independent data controllers.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced on the websites or by email.
